Om prosjektet:
CO-VISION – Mapping the Natural Heritage is a 3-years large-scale cooperation project which intends to co-create and co-produce a reproducible model for tackling environmental challenges and an EU Artistic Digital Archive with the objective of stimulating a deep awareness of the climate crisis, fostering sustainable behaviors and fair methodologies for the cultural creation in large-scale events, and preserving the memory of part of the natural heritage at risk. The project is promoted by a consortium of 12 professional cultural players in 11 countries spreading in all Europe and will involve citizens, international artists (with a specific engagement of the Ukrainian community), local stakeholders through a cultural participatory strategy and thanks to bottom-up mechanisms and an empirical methodology for the storytelling of the natural heritage. The activities will be: 16 processes of local debates, 8 digital artworks, 16 content exhibitions, 16 professional panels, 16 public panels, 1 Blueprint publishing, 1 EU Artistic Digital Archive, 2 press conferences. CO-VISION will count on the active participation of: 24 digital studio artists, 360 citizens diverse for ages, cultural backgrounds and origins (specifically, 14-45 years old), 160 local stakeholders, 1100 professionals, and about 60 persons from the Project Consortium. They will benefit from working in an international and interdisciplinary context, enriching their knowledge and competences, strengthening the abilities in developing co-creative processes and from living an innovative experience participating in the city cultural and social life. The outputs are: 1) Blueprint, a document providing the research results of the project with the greening and participatory processes guidelines; 2) EU Artistic Digital Archive, a website which will be the memory of the research, a hub for the exchange of knowledge and networking, and a space for all the project deliverables remaining as a legacy for the EU community.
