Nordic cultural policy summit
Arts Council Norway invites to a Nordic cultural policy summit at Deichman Bjørvika in Oslo. The event will be simultaneously translated to English and streamed on this page.
When: 29 November from 12:30 to 16:00 Central European Time (UTC/GMT+1)
Where: Deichman Library Bjørvika, Oslo and streaming
The conference brings together key players in the Nordic cultural field to share knowledge, strengthen dialogue and increase contact between decision makers and stake holders in the cultural sector in the Nordic region. The meeting will contribute knowledge, experience and insight that will benefit both the sector and the decision makers.
The topic of the meeting is the future of the cultural sector in the Nordics after the pandemic. The sector lost large parts of its income base during Covid-19, and the conference highlights current reports, experiences, examples and strategies in the Nordic reconstruction work.
In light of Vision 2030 and the goal of a competitive and socially sustainable Nordic region, the meeting also focuses on the community-building role of the free exercise of art and culture.
